A European Commission official since 1993, he has worked in trade, environment, and sustainability, as well as in international cooperation with Latin America and multilateral organizations. He served as a senior expert at the Directorate-General for Environment (DG ENV) and has represented the EU in both Asia and the Americas. He currently shares his expertise through lectures on the European Green Agenda and energy transition.
